Alvar Aalto -- the famous Finnish designer and architect -- is known for the way he considered each project as a whole. When he designed a building, he would also design the furniture, surfaces, cabinets, etc...
For this look, I drew inspiration from the living room in Aalto’s Villa Mairea. He completed the home around the year 1940, but it still feels current, doesn’t it?
